What exactly happens on the call?

You share your certificate, photos, or purchase details beforehand. On the call, I walk you through what I see — strengths, concerns, and questions worth asking your seller. You’ll get a short written summary afterward.

Do I need to buy the piece before booking?

No — this works best before you finalize your purchase, so you’re armed with the right questions when you talk to your seller.

What if I've already bought the piece?

That’s fine too. I’ll review your certificate and photos and give you an honest read on what you have.

How long is the consultation?

20–30 minutes, focused entirely on your specific piece or purchase decision.

Is this a formal certification?

No. This is an independent advisory opinion to support your decision-making — not a replacement for a lab-issued certificate like GIA or IGI.

What can you actually tell from photos and a certificate — without seeing the piece in person?

Quite a lot — certificate accuracy, consistency of details, obvious red flags in pricing or claims, and general guidance. Some things (like precise in-person grading) genuinely require physical inspection, and I’ll always tell you honestly when that’s the case.

Do you sell diamonds or jewellery?

No. I don’t sell any products and don’t earn commission from any seller. My only role is to give you an honest, independent opinion.

Is my information kept private?

Yes. Anything you share is used only for your consultation and never passed on to any third party, including sellers.

What are your qualifications?

I’m a certified gemologist from International Gemology Institute (IGI), with hands-on experience evaluating diamonds and jewellery.

Will you tell my seller anything I discuss with you?

No. This conversation is entirely between us — nothing is shared with your seller or anyone else.

What should I send before the call?

Your certificate (if you have one), clear photos of the piece from a few angles, and any purchase details or seller claims you’d like reviewed.

What if I don't have a certificate?

That’s okay — photos and basic details are still useful, though some assessments are more limited without one. I’ll tell you honestly what I can and can’t determine remotely.

Can you help with pieces bought outside India?

Yes — this consultation works for any diamond or jewellery purchase, wherever you’re buying from.

What happens if you find a problem with my piece?

I’ll explain clearly what I noticed and what it means, plus what questions to raise with your seller or what next steps (like an in-person lab check) might help.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel my booking?

You can reschedule or cancel directly through your Calendly confirmation email, with no hassle — just try to give as much notice as possible.
